Privacy policy

Data controller: KIPDEV SAS, 4 rue des Frênes, 33700 Mérignac, France. Contact: contact@getappgap.com. This policy follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which applies to the publisher whatever the visitor's country.

What we collect, and why

• The text of your idea, the audience and the market you chose: to run the analysis (performance of the service). Kept so that your analysis link keeps working; deleted on request.
• A fingerprint of your IP address (a salted hash; the address itself is not stored): to cap free analyses per visitor (legitimate interest: preventing abuse of a costly service). Kept with the analysis.
• Your email and order data (amount, offer, date, time of consent to the terms): to deliver the report, resend your links and meet accounting obligations. Kept for 10 years (French Commercial Code, art. L123-22).

No data is sold or used for advertising. No account is created.

Recipients (processors)

• OpenRouter, Inc. (USA) and, as a fallback, Anthropic, PBC (USA): your idea and the search results are sent to them to produce the analysis with the Claude model.
• Serper (serper.dev): receives the search queries derived from your idea, to query Google.
• Stripe Payments Europe Ltd (Ireland): processes payment; your card details never reach us.
• Resend, Inc. (USA), through the publisher's mail relay: delivers the emails.
• Hostinger International Ltd (Cyprus): hosts the server and database; Cloudflare, Inc.: DNS and email forwarding.

Transfers to the United States rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, or on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified. Don't put confidential information you don't want sent to these providers in your idea.

Analytics and cookies

Traffic is measured with KipStats, the publisher's own tool, with no cookies and no advertising identifier. The site sets a single cookie, ag_pack, when you activate a pack of reports: it is needed for the service and does nothing else. Stripe's payment form may set its own fraud-prevention cookies, which are strictly necessary for payment. No advertising cookies are used, hence no consent banner.

Your rights

You can access your data, have it corrected or erased, object to processing or ask for portability by writing to contact@getappgap.com. You can also complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr), or to your local authority. Deleting an analysis disables its link.
